The story behind the design
What if wonder starts closer than the stars?
The curiosity
Alexander’s interest in ancient mystery traditions met his fascination with the cosmos. The design question was whether inward curiosity could feel as expansive as looking into space.
What took shape
An ancient vessel opens into an impossible depth. Grain, reflection and light bring an intimate object into contact with a much larger world. As Within So Beyond connects the two.
Carry it into your world
A conversation, a memory, a moment of attention can change a familiar room without moving a single wall. The piece asks what we miss when we only look for discovery somewhere else.
