The story behind the design
When did you last really look up?
The curiosity
The brief was specific: looking at the back should feel a little like looking at a stellar nursery or an astronomer’s map. Alexander wanted depth and the awe of a night sky, with the artwork doing the work.
What took shape
Clusters, dust-like detail and fragments of a celestial chart sit against the dark garment. The quiet front lets the expansive back reveal itself as the wearer turns.
Carry it into your world
The same sky can become background scenery on the way home. Paying attention for a moment can make the route feel unfamiliar again.
